Geek Bar Thermal Edition: Pulse 15K vs Pulse X 25K

WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. For adults 21 and older only.

Geek Bar Thermal Edition includes two closely related devices distinguished by their advertised puff ratings, flavor selections, and display designs. The Pulse Thermal Edition is rated for up to 15,000 puffs, while the Pulse X Thermal Edition advertises up to 25,000.

Both feature heat-reactive exterior finishes, rechargeable batteries, dual mesh coils, and electronic displays. However, the two models have different prices and flavor menus, making their individual specifications important.

Quick Answer

Geek Bar Pulse Thermal Edition 15K is listed at $17.45, while Pulse X Thermal Edition 25K costs $20.49. Both specify 5% nicotine strength, dual mesh coils, USB Type-C charging, and heat-reactive color-changing exteriors. Pulse features an LED status display, while Pulse X describes an HD LED screen. Both product pages currently display Out of Stock.

The vape comparison catalog includes multiple Geek Bar models with different capacities and technical features. Understanding the distinctions between Pulse and Pulse X provides a clearer comparison than relying on the shared Thermal Edition name.

Geek Bar Pulse Thermal Edition 15K: Main Features

The Geek Bar Pulse Thermal Edition 15,000 Puffs — $17.45 features a heat-reactive exterior that changes color as the surface warms.

Its documented specifications include an advertised maximum of 15,000 puffs, 5% nicotine strength, dual mesh coils, and USB Type-C recharging. The built-in LED screen displays battery and remaining e-liquid information.

The retailer emphasizes the temperature-responsive finish as a distinctive visual feature. However, the listing does not identify an exact battery capacity, e-liquid volume, or screen resolution.

Those missing details should not be borrowed from other Pulse models, even when the devices share similar names.

Geek Bar Pulse X Thermal Edition 25K: What Changes?

The Geek Bar Pulse X Thermal Edition 25,000 Puffs — $20.49 increases the advertised maximum to 25,000 puffs and includes an HD LED display.

Like the smaller Pulse Thermal, it specifies 5% nicotine strength, dual mesh coil technology, USB Type-C charging, and a heat-reactive color-changing exterior. Its screen provides battery and e-liquid indicators.

Although the Pulse X has a higher advertised capacity, the listing does not provide enough comparable testing data to calculate a precise difference in real-world battery endurance.

Its HD screen description is also more detailed, although exact resolution and display dimensions remain unspecified.

The Science Behind the Thermal Color-Changing Finish

The feature that gives Geek Bar Thermal Edition its name is the exterior finish that responds to changes in temperature.

This type of surface uses temperature-sensitive color effects, often called thermochromic technology. As the exterior warms or cools, its appearance can change without requiring a separate electronic display function.

The important distinction is that a color-changing exterior is not an additional vaping mode. It does not establish that the device is measuring e-liquid temperature or automatically adjusting its heating power.

Room temperature and the warmth of a person's hand may influence the visible effect. However, the retailer does not publish a specific activation temperature or detailed materials specification.

Pulse Thermal 15K: Five Listed Flavors

The smaller Pulse Thermal product selector contains five options covering fruit, ice, and beverage-inspired profiles.

Strawberry Kiwi combines two recognizable fruit themes, while Raspberry Watermelon pairs berry and melon descriptions. Peach Lemonade introduces a peach-and-citrus beverage style, and Banana Ice includes a cooling-inspired designation.

The fifth selection, Punch, suggests a mixed-fruit beverage profile without identifying its exact ingredients.

These names communicate intended flavor styles rather than measured sweetness, cooling intensity, or independently verified ingredient formulations.

Pulse X Thermal 25K: Five Different Flavor Options

The Pulse X Thermal selector also contains five options, but the menu is entirely different.

Orange Mint combines citrus and mint themes, while Pink Berry Lemonade suggests a berry-based citrus beverage. Strawberry Dragon uses a strawberry-and-dragonfruit-inspired name.

Pear of Thieves has an apparent pear theme, although its full composition is not disclosed. Dualicious is another specialty name without a complete flavor description.

The two Thermal models therefore differ not only in their advertised capacities but also in the flavor selections available.

What Does the Extra 10,000-Puff Rating Actually Mean?

Pulse X Thermal advertises 10,000 more puffs than Pulse Thermal, but that difference cannot be translated directly into days of use.

Manufacturer puff ratings depend on testing assumptions, draw duration, operating behavior, and available battery and e-liquid capacity.

Without comparable laboratory data, the two headline numbers cannot establish an exact difference in actual operating lifespan.

Understanding the Price Difference

The Pulse Thermal 15K currently displays $17.45, compared with $20.49 for Pulse X Thermal 25K.

The $3.04 difference corresponds to two separately listed models with different advertised capacities, screens, and flavor menus. It does not independently establish a difference in manufacturing quality or actual longevity.

Both retailer pages display Out of Stock, despite generic shipping language elsewhere on the site. Their displayed prices should therefore not be treated as confirmation of immediate availability.

What Changes Color—and What Actually Changes Performance?

A warm hand may change the appearance of a Geek Bar Thermal Edition device, but that visual transformation should not be confused with an improvement in its technical capabilities.

The Pulse Thermal 15K and Pulse X Thermal 25K share the same unusual design concept while offering different advertised capacities, display descriptions, and flavor menus. The difference between them is therefore more substantial than the color-changing exterior suggests.

For anyone researching these models, the important distinction is between what the Thermal finish does visually and what each device's documented hardware actually supports. The shell creates the visual effect; the individual product specifications explain the functional differences.
